The ski lifts are also open in the summer as well as the winter, offering amazing vistas from the top of Europe. Mont Blanc - the highest peak in Europe - is a huge draw and Chamonix is often even busier in the summer season to take advantage of everything the region has to offer.
One of our favourite activities outside of the ski season is to visit Lac du Passy - a fabulous swimming lake with restaurants, inflatables and paddle boarding with a phenomenal view of Mont Blanc.
The gastronomic delights the Chamonix valley have to offer are not just limited to tartiflette and raclette.... there are some phenomenal restaurants showcasing cuisines from all over the world...
